Job Coach Assistant

The Intake Specialist position is a part-time temporary non-paid position.

 ​Key responsibilities of an intake specialist may include:

  • On-the-job training: Providing personalized training on specific job tasks and workplace expectations. 

  • Employer communication: Collaborating with employers to discuss reasonable accommodations and ensure a supportive work environment. 

  • Social skills development: Assisting with navigating workplace social dynamics and communication. 

  • Progress monitoring: Tracking an individual's progress and adjusting support as needed. 

  • Assessment: Evaluating an individual's skills, abilities, and needs to identify suitable job opportunities. 

  • Job search assistance: Helping individuals identify potential jobs, craft resumes and cover letters, and prepare for interviews.
