Work Experience Training

Our work experience program is an opportunity to provide qualified candidates a supervised, structured learning environment to develop work habits and gain occupational skills with the goal of fulltime employment. The aim is to increase the participating trainee’s likelihood of securing regular unsubsidized employment.

 

The Program allows a customer to be placed at a business or agency within the community to learn skills for long-term, competitive, integrated employment. These entities are referred to as "Work Experience sites." Work Experience services are intended to be short term (12 or fewer weeks) and part-time.
